October 29th, 2015 – Mokulele Airlines, Hawaii’s favorite Island Hopper, announced today that they have significantly discounted fares out of Kalaeloa Airport (Barber’s Point) in Kapolei through the end of the year.
“We really want to promote this airport and remind people living on the North Shore, the West Side, and of course Kapolei that they do not need to fight traffic to Honolulu International Airport when they fly between the islands,” said Mokulele President and CEO Ron Hansen. “Kalaeloa is a wonderful location to travel out of because there’s no TSA, complimentary parking, and we offer an incredibly convenient schedule with flights amped back up to 7 days per week. It’s like travel the way it used to be – stress and hassle free.”
Mokulele is offering a $36 fare including taxes and fees from Kalaeloa to Moloka‘i and a $59 fare from Kalaeloa to Kahului effective today through 12/31/15.
“Kalaeloa is the best kept secret in the state,” said Ron Hansen “It’s not just an airport for the Military, and we hope that kama’aina will take advantage of these savings to spend more time with their family and friends this holiday season.”
In addition to the discounted fares, Mokulele is holding a Halloween costume contest for customers on 10/31 at all their stations. Fans will vote on their favorites and the person with the most votes on 11/7 will win two round-trip tickets on Mokulele Airlines.
